to separate from the mass and the only abnormal walking among the crowd with fixed and predestined path to success or failure.
It is because people fear loneliness. But if the reasons are vague, baseless, unsubstantiated ... it's called a cowardly (synonymous with futility in the world of trying not to be controlled).
